SCHOOL BREAKFAST PROGRAM

A community-driven initiative that helps improve the health, learning, and school participation of children in underserved communities in the Philippines. Launched in 2011 with over 90 malnourished students at Cabbo Elementary School, the program has expanded to support multiple schools and now provides thousands of nutritious meals each year, helping students start their day well-nourished and ready to learn. Beyond reducing hunger, the program encourages school attendance, strengthens children’s ability to focus in class, and boosts their confidence — making a meaningful difference in young learners’ lives and futures

Through this program, we have:

  • Improved students’ health and nutritional status

  • Incentivized students and parents to enrol and stay enrolled in school

  • Improved students’ ability to learn

  • Improved students’ confidence
