Being an immigrant who loves her country and a social worker by profession, I wanted to focus on giving back to the Philippines.

After Martial Law ended in the Philippines, I felt the need to share and help people in the Philippines, specially women and children. It has always been a good feeling being able to give back.
I joined Adhika's Board because I share its mission to empower communities in Canada and the Philippines, reflecting my passion for creating positive change. Adhika's workshops on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) educate and equip individuals to prevent and respond to GBV, fostering safer communities.
